Pure sequence
A pure sequence is three or more consecutive cards from the same suit without a joker replacing any card.
13-card Indian Rummy
Learn the core rummy rules before you play: sequences, sets, jokers, points, and the valid declaration flow.
Rules
A clean declaration depends on how well you arrange your 13 cards.
A pure sequence is three or more consecutive cards from the same suit without a joker replacing any card.
An impure sequence follows the same order but uses a joker to complete a missing card.
A set groups cards of the same rank from different suits, such as three kings from three suits.
Declare only when your cards form valid groups, including the required pure sequence.
Player flow
Each turn is about improving your hand while lowering risk if someone else declares first.
At the start, sort your cards by suit and rank. Look for natural runs first, then use jokers to complete weaker groups. Avoid holding disconnected high-value cards for too long.
